Driver Skills and Safety Training Event

2025 Driver Skills and Safety Training Event (aka Snowplow Roadeo)

Co-Chairs Jamie Boyer, Jason Page, Chris Bouchard

The MHA held its Driver Skills and Safety Training on July 16th, 2025 at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area under great weather at a great location yet again.

This year we had the single axle truck event and a wheel loader event for the competition. Thank you for making this event great again as we had 21 loader operators compete and 22 truck teams compete, it was very competitive and helps build comradery amongst all of the competitors and great peer interaction.

We would like to thank all the Teams and the Cities and Towns that you represent for your participation in this safety training event as we would not have the event without you. Secondly the judges and the Cities, Towns, State agencies, vendors that you work for, you are a key component to making this event happen and run smoothly and efficiently. We would also like to thank our vendor sponsors ATG Trucks Westfield and CN Wood and the Town of Westminster for providing the loaders and trucks we use for the running event, Baystate Roads Program for handling the registrations, advertising and judging as this helps us greatly with our event.
